Job Summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled IR/Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical skills during Diagnostic Lab procedures to provide efficient, comfortable, and safe examinations of adult through gerontology patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for Diagnostic Lab procedures using established aseptic technique.
  • Facilitate implementation of physician's orders accurately, promptly, and courteously.
  • Assist the physician and anticipate equipment needs.
  • Recognize potential emergency/life-threatening situations and implement preventative measures as directed by the physician.
  • Utilize supplies in a cost-effective manner.

Requirements

  • American Registered Radiology Technology License (ARRT) or equivalent certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
