Medical Care Specialist

As a Physician Assistant at Rochester Regional Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical services to patients. Under the supervision of a physician or administrator, you will perform medical examinations, selected diagnostic and therapeutic tasks, and other special procedures to assist in the delivery of medical services.
Key Responsibilities
Interact with patients, family members, and medical/social/public services support to provide exceptional patient satisfaction.
Prescribe medication, write orders, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Obtain complete patient histories, review records, and perform physical exams to develop comprehensive medical plans.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (Required)
PA-C certification from the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
RPA certification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
Working Conditions
Medium work environment, requiring frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $95,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Rochester Regional Health is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
