Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled veterinary assistant to join our team at Animal Care Hospital of Phoenix. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a progressive, community-oriented practice that provides high-quality veterinary care and friendly client service.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Care for pet animals, including administering medications, setting up equipment and diagnostic machines, giving injections, performing tests to assess the state of the animal's health, and other duties as required.
  • Administer medications to animals.
  • Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures.
  • Monitor and care for small mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, and farm animals.
  • Perform lab tests to diagnose ailments.
  • Keep detailed medical records on all patients.
  • Conduct routine medical procedures such as administering vaccines and drawing blood from animals.
