Veterinary Emergency Team Lead

As a member of the Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG), this role is focused on providing exceptional patient care and leadership in our fast-paced emergency veterinary setting. We are revolutionizing emergency medicine with a customer-first mentality and a true employee-centric work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Supervise and mentor veterinary assistants and nurses to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
- Participate in formulating treatment plans, anesthetic plans, and nursing care plans.
- Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the location of the VEG practice.
- Prior experience in a veterinary technician role, preferably in emergency or specialty medicine.
- Basic computer skills to use practice management software, electronic medical records, and collaboration tools.
- Fine motor skills adequate for utilizing hospital equipment daily.
- Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, work on the floor, and lift up to 25 kg on own and support up to 40 kg with assistance.
- A competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience.
