Purpose:

As a Medical Technologist at K.A. Recruiting, you will perform complex testing in various laboratory areas, including Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Serology, and Blood Bank. Your key responsibilities will include proper patient and specimen identification, adherence to testing policies and procedures, instrument use and troubleshooting, and computer functions.

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology. You must also hold a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or categorical/specialist certification in a laboratory discipline from ASCP or certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) from HEW or AMT, or completion of a Military training course as a Medical Laboratory Specialist.

Certification in one of the following is required: MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA), MLS(ASCP), MT(AMT), or MT(HEW). No experience is required, but a passion for laboratory work and a commitment to excellence are essential.
