About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician II to join our team at Serco North America. As a Diesel Technician II, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing light, medium, and heavy-duty diesel trucks and various other construction, GSE, and utility-specific equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate automotive and diesel vehicles, as well as construction and material handling equipment.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair bucket truck and digger derrick hydraulic systems.
  • Perform engine, electrical, and drivability diagnostics/repair.
  • Perform PA state inspections and manufacturer-recommended services.
  • Diagnose and repair aftertreatment systems.
  • Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
  • Schedule and prioritize work derived from driver reports and planned maintenance.
Requirements
  • A valid DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one.
  • At least 5 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Customer-focused, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
  • Be a safety-oriented individual.
  • CDL B license is required, but can be obtained after employment begins, with training and reimbursement provided.
  • Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.
Desired Qualifications
  • Diesel vocational/technical school certifications.
