About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Financial Manager to join our team at GovCon Associates LLC. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and presenting financial information that informs decision makers and is critical to program success.

This role works closely with program management and accounting to develop, manage, and present information that informs decision makers and is critical to program success. Performs financial and administrative reporting for programs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of internal control systems and procedures, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages program financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
  • Monitors program performance against budget and identifies areas for improvement
  • Provides financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
  • Ensures accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with company policies and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of applicable experience in Program Cost and/or Project Control for Government contracting companies
  • Strong knowledge of internal control systems and procedures
  • Strong financial analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to work collaboratively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management
  • Must be US Citizen

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on location and experience.
