Memory Care Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Prestige Senior Living - Arbor Place. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing direct resident care, promoting resident dignity, independence, and choice, and upholding our core values of respect, integrity, commitment, and trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct resident care while promoting resident dignity, independence, and choice.
- Assist with or perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), take vital signs, and accurately document care services provided and observations on communication logs and incident reports.
- Assist residents to and from dining rooms and activities.
- Perform First Aid and initiate emergency response procedures as required.
- Greet residents, visitors, and staff courteously and answer phones when assigned.
- Follow and support community fire safety and infection control practices and promptly report any unsafe conditions or equipment to immediate supervisors.
- Serve meals in the dining room, assist residents at mealtime, provide resident tray delivery, and assist with dining room and kitchen clean-up and maintenance.
- Assist with tours, move-ins, move-outs, and transfers and coordinate personal care services with co-workers assisting with lifting and respond to assistance pages promptly.
- Assist with apartment housekeeping services and resident laundry.
- Attend and participate in training, in-services, and staff meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED and one or more years of personal care experience with older adults. You must also be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and have current First Aid and CPR certification. Food Handlers permit is required if required by State.
