Job Summary

Hammond Lumber Company is seeking a reliable and skilled Class C driver to join our team in Bar Harbor, Maine. As a Class C driver, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload, and store materials in our yard. You will also perform customer deliveries using Class C equipment and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials within our yard.
  • Customer Deliveries: Perform customer deliveries using Class C equipment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Heavy Lifting: Perform heavy lifting and other physical tasks as required by the job.

Requirements
  • Forklift Experience: Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Building Materials Experience: Experience handling building materials is a plus.
  • Class C Driver's License: The preferred candidate will have a clean and valid Class C driver's license.
Salary

The salary for this position is up to $42,000 per year.
