About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant Banking Transformation to join our team at BDO Belgium. As a Senior Consultant Banking Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance operational excellence, reduce costs, and elevate quality in banking operations.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to identify potential process improvements, automations, and opportunities for AI implementation.
  • Implement strategies to streamline processes and optimize efficiency, resulting in cost reduction and enhanced quality.
  • Identify process improvements and automations, leveraging expertise to uncover opportunities for streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks.
  • Discover potential for implementing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and efficiency in existing processes.
  • Capture requirements for application improvement or development, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements for software development.
  • Digitize manual processes or improve existing digitizations, driving digital transformation by digitizing manual processes and enhancing existing digital solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in banking, consulting, or a related industry.
  • Possess knowledge of and experience in banking services such as lending, daily banking, etc.
  • Experience with process optimization, RPA, and AI.
  • Demonstrate outstanding process analysis and business analysis skills.
  • Excel in analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Can work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
  • Bring strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Fluency in Dutch or French as a native language, with very good proficiency in the other and fluency in English.
  • Understand the impact of ESG on the banking industry.
  • Ability to identify new project opportunities at clients and contribute to the sales process.
