About the Role

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Senior Manager, Research Operations to join our team at The Angeles Clinic & Research Institute. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of new cancer therapies and provide expert care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning, organization, and execution of research operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, professional and regulatory agency standards, and licensure requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership and physician management to develop and implement strategic plans, programs, and policies for research operations.
  • Supervise employees in immediate areas of oversight, including administrative, clinical, technician, and health information staff.
  • Assume responsibility for the assessment and improvement of competencies, work assignments, and schedules, as well as orienting, coaching, training, in-services, performance evaluation, compensation, mentoring, discipline, and terminating employment.
  • Partner with appropriate departments to execute duties, such as clinical services, risk, quality, and human resources.
  • Develop business and operations plans for assigned areas, programs, and services in collaboration with the Director.
  • Establish effective patient care processes and workflows in collaboration with other leaders.
  • Maintain appropriate quality control programs and partner proactively with risk, quality, safety, and clinical operations leadership to ensure continuous monitoring and improvement in provision of clinical services.
Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in healthcare management or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in business planning, performance improvement, data analytics, and healthcare operations preferred.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred.
