Job Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to prepare and deliver food services to our residents in a manner that is both cost-effective and efficient, ensuring that we meet their needs in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or GED, or relevant experience
  • Compliance with all health regulations as mandated by law
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Ability to interact positively and effectively with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff
  • Capability to endure sudden temperature changes in the kitchen environment
  • Ability to taste and smell food to assess quality and flavor
  • Skill in safely transporting hot items from cooking areas to serving stations
  • Competence in identifying and properly using cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
