Optical Sales Associate

The Sales Associate plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our optical retail stores. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on eyewear and optical solutions, while maintaining a high level of product knowledge and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
- Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring customers receive the best possible vision solution.
- Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, providing personalized recommendations to meet their unique needs.
- Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
- Maintain a high level of store appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
- Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
- Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Self-motivation with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
