Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and grant accounting.
  • Participate in financial standard setting and forecasting.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and manage all tax planning and compliance.
  • Work closely with the finance team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role in the finance industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with financial software, including MIP, Month End, Balance Sheets, Reconciliations, and Grant Accounting.
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office and accounting software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, excellent analytical abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
