Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Consulting Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial services to our clients, helping them navigate complex financial landscapes with ease and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations.
  • Provide advice on financial risks and opportunities to clients.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting procedures and systems.
  • Assist with tax preparations and returns.
  • Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Provide financial analysis and forecasts to assist in decision making.
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on bank reconciliations.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software, such as QuickBooks, MS Excel, and other business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for thinking creatively to overcome challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • An ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
