We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at Staples, Inc. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our facilities and assets.
Key Responsibilities- Security and Compliance: Maintain order and control of the front desk, lobby areas, and switchboard to ensure a secure and safe environment for employees and visitors.
- Asset Protection: Conduct scanning and bag checking of all employees and visitors exiting the facility to prevent internal theft and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Monitoring and Response: Monitor entrance and front lobby to ensure all visitors are authorized, logged in, and escorted. Respond to incidents as needed across multiple fulfillment centers and delivery operations buildings.
- Audit and Analysis: Audit physical security platforms (intrusion, access control & CCTV) across multiple buildings to ensure functionality of all systems. Analyze data and conduct video audits relating to Shrink & Cargo Loss across multiple buildings to mitigate risk.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the Asset Protection Manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of security and compliance protocols.
- Education: High school degree or GED, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of related experience in warehouse operations or loss prevention/asset protection.
- Competitive Pay: $18.50/hour + $2.00/hour Shift Diff (Based on Experience)
