Administrative Assistant

Compassus is a leading provider of hospice care, and we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our executives and ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to executives, including calendar management, expense report processing, and travel arrangement booking.
  • Assist in planning and executing meetings, events, and conferences, including site selection, registration, and contract negotiation.
  • Complete projects as assigned by executives, including preparing correspondence, memoranda, and reports.
  • Serve as a backup to other executive assistants and administrative assistants in the event of an absence.
  • Handle incoming inquiries, directing them to the appropriate leader or team member.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least six months of experience as an administrative assistant or related role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to leaders, team members, and external parties.
Skills:
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
Work Environment:

The demands of this role require regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity, as well as the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
