Exciting Opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse

At Liberty Healthcare Management, we offer a fulfilling and challenging role within a supportive environment. This position is for a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse in our Rehabilitation Care Unit, working weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in overseeing nursing services for the unit, adhering to the Nursing Practice Act, and under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
2. Delegate tasks to both professional and non-professional nursing staff while monitoring their performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
3. Aid in notifying the attending physician regarding emergencies and patient fatalities within the unit.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse, having graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with proof of license renewal submitted every two years.

Skills:
- Ability to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and adhere to physicians' directives.
- A genuine passion for geriatric nursing is essential.

Participation in in-service training and other required staff meetings is expected.
