Key Responsibilities
  • Perform phlebotomies on patients of all age groups
  • Process laboratory specimens and collect specialized tests
  • Perform breath alcohol testing
  • Register patients and order laboratory tests in the EMR
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Completion of a phlebotomy, certified nursing assistant, or medical assistant training course preferred
  • Certification with ASCP or the National Healthcareer Association, Inc. as a certified phlebotomy technician or other discipline listed above preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
