Job Summary:

Prime Healthcare is seeking a skilled RN Case Manager to join our team at Harlingen Medical Center. As a RN Case Manager, you will be responsible for the quality and resource management of all patients admitted to the facility, from admission to discharge.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote cost containment and demonstrate leadership to integrate healthcare providers for seamless delivery of care.
  • Conduct holistic and comprehensive admission and concurrent review of medical records for medical necessity, intensity of service, and severity of illness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve quality, clinical, and cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience post-graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current state Registered Nurse license.
  • Knowledge of Milliman Criteria and InterQual Criteria preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.
