About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist Lead to join our team at Premier Health. As a key member of our Agile squad, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end machine learning production pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of big data analytics and the ability to collect insight from maintenance data. You will work closely with our business users to enable digital use cases and drive innovation in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and implements end-to-end machine learning production pipelines (data exploration, sampling, training data generation, feature engineering, model building, and performance evaluation)
  • Ensures that data pipelines are scalable, repeatable, and secure, and can serve multiple users within the company
  • Enables big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions that leverage emerging technologies
  • Collects, parses, manages, analyzes, and visualizes large sets of data using multiple platforms

Requirements

  • Masters or PhD degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relative quantitative discipline
  • 5-7 years of job-related experience in Data Science, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing machine learning algorithms in Python
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with agile or other rapid development methods, object-oriented design, coding, and testing patterns
