Hydraulic Systems Engineer

MagTech Inc. is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing all aspects of hydraulic systems, equipment, and machinery.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement hydraulic schematics in AutoCAD
- Interpret mechanical and hydraulic design drawings and specifications
- Design 3D equipment layout drawings in Autodesk Inventor
- Mentor fellow teammates and shop technicians
- Troubleshoot, field test, and install hydraulic systems
- Develop bills of materials and create submittals, training instructions, and O&M Manuals
- Review project specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of industrial hydraulic design experience
- Extensive knowledge of Fluid Power and Industrial Controls
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Able to read and modify programs for PLCs, HMIs, and Valve Controllers
- Excellent documentation, written, and oral communication skills
- Able to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
Salary: $115,000-$125,000
Hours: Business hours, Monday-Friday, standard 40-hour work week with occasional OT
Travel: Less than 10%
