About the Job: E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. is seeking a skilled Distribution Systems Engineer to join our team in the greater Portland or Salt Lake City area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed design and engineering calculations of overhead and/or underground electric distribution systems
* Verify Bill of Materials meet the requirements of the design and client needs
* Design distribution projects with neatness and a small margin for error utilizing PLS-CADD, O-Calc, SPIDA-Calc, or Pole Foreman software
* Conduct electrical design review meetings and provide minutes
* Interface with project management and designers during the design phase
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering
* 4-7 years of experience working in distribution design or similar with utility or consulting engineering firm
* Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems
* Proficient using Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook)
