Job Summary

The Oak View Group is seeking a skilled Banquet Server to provide exceptional hospitality to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering fine dining level food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Responsibilities
  • Read and understand Banquet Event Orders to ensure accurate service
  • Carry and serve food and beverages to guests with precision and efficiency
  • Provide friendly and professional contact with guests, anticipating and meeting their needs
  • Setup and maintain food and beverage stations, adhering to Stride Bank Center standards
  • Maintain inventory and ensure accurate tracking of food and beverage supplies
  • Participate in setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items
  • Work independently during slower times, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Perform safe work, adhering to Stride Bank Center safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless service and resolve any guest concerns
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • Minimum one year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants
  • Ability to read and understand written communications in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
