Job Title: Community Home Program Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Home Program Specialist to join our team at McGuire Memorial. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and quality of life for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Job Duties:
  • Ensure programmatic and regulatory compliance for assigned houses in accordance with Chapter 6400 Regulations.
  • Lead a team of direct care staff in a residential setting, providing guidance and support to ensure the needs of individuals are met.
  • Collaborate with behavior specialists, day program professionals, school personnel, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care.
  • Work closely with individuals' parents and/or guardians to ensure their needs are met and their preferences are respected.
  • Hold current certifications in medication administration, CPR/First Aid, and be able to become a certified investigator.
  • Have a reliable vehicle available for use while on the job, with mileage reimbursed monthly.
Requirements:
  • Ability to pass physical and drug screening.
  • Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance.
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check.
  • FBI Federal Criminal History Record (fingerprinting).
  • TB testing.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Service field and 2 years of work experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings, and serve as the on-call professional for the community homes once every 8-10 weeks.
  • Knowledge of computers and iPads is required.
