Position Overview:
Community LIFE is committed to delivering extensive care and assistance to seniors (55+) residing in the community.

We are seeking a dedicated On-Call Registered Nurse to join our team.

Work Schedule:
This role involves being on-call from 4 PM to 8 AM, Monday through Friday, and available 24 hours on weekends.

This position operates on an every other week basis, providing full-time salary compensation for those weeks worked.

The candidate must be able to reach participants' homes within 45 minutes of receiving a call.

Compensation:
Annual salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000.

Service Areas:
Covering Tarentum, Lower Burrell, and nearby communities.

Key Duties:
1. Assess, advise, educate, and coordinate care for elderly participants.
2. Evaluate participants experiencing episodic illnesses after hours in collaboration with healthcare providers.
3. Document care provided and any changes in participants' conditions promptly.
4. Administer nursing care and prescribed treatments.
5. Demonstrate nursing practices to participants and their families/caregivers.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- At least one year of experience with elderly or frail populations, ideally in long-term care, home care, or community health settings.
- Experience in educating patients and healthcare staff is preferred.
- Must hold a Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License required.
