Position Title: Retail Associate - Cubs Flagship Store
Compensation: $16.75/hr
Job Summary: As a Retail Associate, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service while managing merchandise transactions in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restock shelves, counters, and displays with merchandise to ensure availability for customers.
- Set up promotional displays and arrange products to enhance sales opportunities.
- Label merchandise with pricing and information for customer clarity.
- Assist customers in locating and selecting products based on their needs.
- Address customer inquiries regarding product details, pricing, and usage.
- Engage with customers to resolve any complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
- Package and prepare merchandise for customer purchase.
- Calculate total sales amounts, including taxes, to finalize transactions.
- Process payments and provide accurate change to customers.
- Maintain accurate cash register records and reconcile cash at the end of your shift.
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist in ordering new merchandise as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
