Data Engineer

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States Oracle Full time
Job Summary

An analytics engineer at Oracle writes complex SQL to extract data from a relational database management system (RDBMS). They then construct sophisticated formulas in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to visually display the data in dashboards. These dashboards empower our Behavioral Health clients to make informed decisions and meet regulatory requirements. The data presented in a dashboard must be accurate, or our clients will lose confidence in the product. Every team member rigorously tests the product and follows Agile Scrum methodologies to ensure consistent progress.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug an analytics product containing elements of data extraction and data visualization.

Create and update SQL to meet functional requirements.

Construct data visualizations and dashboards in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Tableau.

Work independently to turn a few sentences of requirements into a unit of functionality within a two-week cycle.

Validate the data presented to ensure it is correct.

Collaborate with an experienced team that follows Agile Scrum processes.
