Position Overview
As a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician, you will collaborate with physicians and cardiovascular lab personnel to prepare and maintain the Cath Lab for procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and interpreting cardiac pressure forms and thermodynamic parameters.
- Conducting cardiac thermodynamic calculations and reporting any irregularities to the physician.
- Updating procedural logs promptly after each case.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting.
- One of the following: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP).
