We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab Tech to join our team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians and other cardiovascular lab personnel in clearing and preparing the Cath Lab room for cases.
Key Responsibilities- Recognize and record cardiac pressure forms and cardiac thermodynamics parameters.
- Perform cardiac thermodynamic calculations and report any abnormal values to the physician.
- Review and update procedures logs immediately after each procedure.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT), Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP) certification.
HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital offering a full range of services, including interventional and therapeutic care, open-heart surgery, labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services. We are a designated Certified Primary Stroke Center, a Level II Trauma Center, and a CARF-accredited Physical Rehabilitation Center.
