Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Cath Lab Tech, you will collaborate with physicians and other cardiovascular lab personnel to prepare the Cath Lab for procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recognizing and interpreting cardiac pressure forms and thermodynamic parameters.
  • Performing cardiac thermodynamic calculations and promptly reporting any irregular findings to the physician.
  • Updating procedural logs immediately following each case.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP).
