About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Therapist to join our dedicated team in providing expert therapeutic services to young individuals and their families. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of youth facing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide culturally sensitive, therapeutic services to students and their caregivers.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, behavioral support plans, and safety plans.
  • Facilitate individual and family treatment sessions, predominantly within the home but also in the residential milieu when required.
  • Work with residents and families to develop short- and long-term treatment plans.
  • Act as agency liaison with contracting agencies, advocates, and guardians.
  • Maintain records for contract and state compliance.
  • Develop and maintain community, governmental, and other public and private resources and relationships.
  • Facilitate trainings for all faculty related to evidenced-based family therapy practice.
  • Support crisis intervention within the milieu and the home.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience counseling adolescents and/or families, preferably in home-based or residential settings.
  • Experience with evidenced-based family therapy modalities preferred but not required.
  • Must complete background check.
