Position Summary
Join our dedicated team at BrightSpring Health Services, a leading provider of pharmacy solutions tailored for long-term care and senior living communities. Our focus is on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care in a non-retail environment, allowing our staff to concentrate on the specific needs of our clients.
Work Schedule:
ON-SITE 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM with one weekend shift per month, totaling 32 hours per week.
Compensation:
$17 - $21 per hour
Licensing Requirements:
Valid Pharmacy Technician License or Pharmacy Assistant License in Washington State.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately fill prescription orders in compliance with state regulations, ensuring proper packaging for dispensing and delivery.
- Label medications appropriately, including necessary cautionary or auxiliary information.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and assist in managing stock levels.
- Prepare various forms of medications, including liquids, powders, and ointments, and engage in non-sterile compounding as needed.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Process returned medications for credit or disposal as required.
- Assist in onboarding and training new pharmacy staff.
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage controlled substances in compliance with regulations.
- Utilize automated systems for medication prepackaging.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify expired medications to maintain pharmacy standards.
- Input patient and medication data into the pharmacy management system.
- Prepare and package IV medications, ensuring cleanliness and compliance in the IV room.
- Service medication dispensing machines as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a pharmacy setting with familiarity in medical terminology.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to recognize medications.
- Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and a collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license.
Preferred:
- Experience in long-term care pharmacy settings.
