About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care using a Family Centered approach, assessing individualized patient needs and communicating care needs and priorities to assigned team members.
  • Plan, implement, educate, and evaluate care using Evidence-Based Practices, utilizing Therapeutic Communication to monitor physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and families.
  • Engage in the workplace community by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings and reporting important information and updates back to staff.
  • Document according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Education: BSN; Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
  • Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification required. Must be willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by your manager based on business unit.
