Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Weekend Program team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care using a Family Centered approach, assessing individualized patient needs and communicating care needs and priorities to assigned staff members.
  • Plan, implement, educate, and evaluate care using Evidence-Based Practices, utilizing Therapeutic Communication to monitor physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and families.
  • Engage in the 'workplace community' by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings and reporting important information and updates back to staff.
  • Document care according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • BSN; Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
