We are seeking a skilled Patient Transporter to join our team at Northwestern Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients to and from clinical units and diagnostic treatment areas.
Responsibilities- Transport patients to and from clinical units and diagnostic treatment areas in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Work independently under direct or indirect supervision, receiving assignments and completing tasks with substantial independence.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, adhering to instructions and standard practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and support.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
