We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Staff PACU Nurse. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
- Monitor and report patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to ensure timely interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing or Associate degree in nursing with relevant experience.
- Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience in Critical Care nursing or acute care nursing.
- Current California Nursing license and certification in Post Anesthesia Nursing (PANR) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Blue Card within 90 days of hire.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
