Job Summary:

Honda Development and Manufacturing of America is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Chassis Development Division, you will be responsible for designing suspension parts and systems that meet targeted schedules and deliver outstanding performance, quality, reliability, value, and enjoyment to Honda's customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop suspension parts and systems using CATIA and MS Office.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve performance, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Plan and coordinate activities with design, test, factory, purchasing, and suppliers.
  • Lead meetings and provide constructive thoughts to ensure successful project completion.
  • Review costs and provide solutions to ensure design intentions are met.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive suspension component and system design.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software, particularly CATIA V5/V6.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
