Your Responsibilities as an Autism Support Specialist:

  • Earn while you learn our distinctive care approach. Training is compensated at $20/hr and lasts approximately 20 hours.
  • Deliver individualized, play-based support to a child or young adult with autism.
  • Implement a tailored plan for your client, documenting progress each session through our specialized mobile application.
  • Engage thoughtfully and professionally with your client's family, ensuring they are informed partners in our care program.
  • Participate in clinical lectures and team meetings to enhance your professional growth.
  • Become part of a vibrant company culture that prioritizes your success and the well-being of the families we serve.

  • You have a passion for child development; prior experience with children is advantageous.
  • You are at least 18 years old and possess a GED or high school diploma.
  • You can commit to working with Positive Development for a minimum of 12 months.
  • You exhibit the patience and empathy necessary to support a child in need.
  • You have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license or state ID. We provide mileage reimbursement for work-related travel.
  • You are capable of lifting heavy objects, frequently getting up and down from the floor, and actively engaging in play with children.
  • You feel a calling to contribute to the growth of individuals with developmental needs.
