About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Echo Vascular Technician PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare West. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary

The Echo Vascular Technician PRN will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, imaging, and other cardiology tests to diagnose possible cardiac conditions. You will also transport patients, distribute final reports, maintain data management systems, and process documentation of tests performed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms, imaging, and other cardiology tests to diagnose possible cardiac conditions
  • Transport patients and distribute final reports
  • Maintain data management systems and process documentation of tests performed
  • Prepare patient and room, and maintain and complete appropriate equipment disinfection between patients
Requirements
  • Registered in one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technologist from ARDMS; or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Vascular Specialist from CCI is required
  • 1 year of experience in performing echocardiography studies is required
  • Current BLS certification is required
