Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Echo Technician to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing transthoracic echocardiogram studies, including 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, Color Doppler studies, bubble studies, stress echocardiograms, and other cardiology procedures assigned. The successful candidate will also have experience with Transesophageal Echocardiogram studies on Pediatric and Adolescent patient populations.

Responsibilities
  • Independently perform all types of Pediatric and Adolescent Echocardiograms, for Echo
  • Assure proper patient assessment to ensure most optimal study
  • Demonstrate proficiency when operating all equipment
  • Record and prepare studies for physician review/enter charges correctly

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Vocational School Graduate
  • Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer
