We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our in-home nursing team on a part-time basis. As a critical member of our team, you will provide high-quality care directly to pediatric patients within their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Administer medications accurately and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
- Record and monitor vital signs, ensuring the health and safety of patients.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and eating.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health care procedures and treatment plans.
- Ensure strict compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements:
- Must hold an active LPN license in the state of Georgia.
- Proven experience in a direct patient care setting, with strong clinical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and routine medical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively explaining complex issues to patients and family members.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records.
