Job Title: Clinical System Specialist II

Job Summary:

DHR Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical System Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our clinical informatics team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, training, and maintaining clinical systems to support our healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modify programming systems, including testing and implementation, to support our organization's applications systems.
  • Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and develop solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze and define business requirements, including new design and change requests, to ensure seamless integration with our clinical systems.
  • Participate in testing and validation of code upgrades and issue resolution to ensure high-quality system performance.
  • Provide technical support to clinicians, business owners, and IS teams to resolve production problems and ensure system stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in clinical informatics to ensure our systems remain cutting-edge and effective.

Requirements:

  • High School/GED required; Associates Degree or BA/BS in healthcare, business, or IT-related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of hospital information systems implementation, analysis, and support experience; Cerner Core experience preferred.
  • Strong hospital operations knowledge, including HIPAA, and ability to translate technical terms to non-technical users.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
