Job Summary

The Key Holder will be responsible for supporting the management team in driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role will also involve delivering exceptional customer service, collaborating with the management team to complete merchandise initiatives, and overseeing the sales floor when appointed as manager on duty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales and Profitability: Support the management team in achieving sales and profitability goals by driving sales, managing inventory, and implementing visual merchandising strategies.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Greet, engage, and assist customers to provide a positive shopping experience and build customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Management Team: Work closely with the management team to complete merchandise initiatives, maintain high standards of visual presentations, and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Oversee Sales Floor: Manage the sales floor when appointed as manager on duty, ensuring a safe and secure work environment, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Support Training and Development: Assist in training and developing current and new sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Ensure Store Operations: Manage and drive the daily opening and closing procedures for the store, including shipment, registers, and sales floor maintenance.
  • Participate in Store Meetings: Attend store meetings to discuss initiatives, objectives, issues, tasks, and responsibilities.
  • Loss Prevention and Safety: Provide loss prevention awareness to protect store assets and ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • General Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain the store in an efficient, clean, and safe manner at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience: One year of experience in a retail store.
  • Education: High School Diploma (or GED) preferred.
Desired Skills and Abilities
  • Familiarity with POS Systems: Familiarity with point of sale systems and the ability to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, management, and sales associates.
  • Cheerful Working Attitude: A cheerful working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding Customer Service Skills: Outstanding customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to stand and walk around during the scheduled shift, comfortably pack and unpack shipments, arrange, and move store fixtures and packages weighing up to 50lbs, and reach for merchandise using ladders, step stools, and merchandise retrieving poles, etc.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule.
