Job Summary

The Retail Associate plays a vital role in assisting the store management team in achieving operational goals by performing various tasks within the retail location. This position involves learning and working in different capacities, including Cashier, Textiles or Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e-Books Producer, and Rack or Cart Runner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cashier: Process customer transactions, maintain a balanced cash drawer, and adhere to cash handling procedures.
  • Textiles or Wares Producer: Sort and categorize products, identify quality and value, and properly display merchandise.
  • Donation Door Attendant: Accept donations, maintain a clean donation area, and educate customers on Goodwill promotions.
  • eCommerce Producer: Identify valuable items for online sales, stay informed about market values, and properly prepare items for shipping.
  • e-Books Producer: Scan and categorize books, manage inventory, and create displays to meet sales goals.
  • Rack and Cart Runner: Check and maintain quality, colorize and merchandise racks, and restock shelves.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mathematical Aptitude: Develop and apply mathematical thinking to solve everyday problems.
  • Critical Thinking: Use judgment and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
