Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive technical reviews of tax returns and documentation for our diverse client portfolio.
- Investigate tax-related issues and provide resolutions and recommendations.
- Stay informed about changes and developments in tax legislation and accounting standards.
- Oversee, coordinate, and manage client interactions to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- Engage with clients to ensure their needs and interests are prioritized.
- Guide and support team members to meet objectives and manage budgets by fostering a positive work environment.
- Monitor the quality of deliverables and assess team performance.
- Delegate, track, and manage assignments for staff and supervisors.
- Actively participate in the development of team members.
- Build and maintain a robust network to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Supervise billing processes and collections, while managing work in progress and financial metrics.
- Facilitate and contribute to internal training and continuing professional education (CPE) sessions.
- CPA Certification is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting.
- Proven leadership capabilities.
- Strong decision-making skills and the initiative to act decisively.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage a demanding workload.
