Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $125,000 and $135,000 annually, depending on experience.


Key Responsibilities

This role is essential in managing assisted living services within designated communities during the vacancy of the Resident Services Director (RSD). The primary focus will be on maintaining accurate care levels and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

  • Oversee resident care management across the community.
  • Ensure timely and precise initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Maintain accurate service plans and assignment sheets.
  • Review communication logs and address critical issues promptly.
  • Provide first aid to residents as necessary.
  • Supervise the medication program and support Resident Medication Assistants.
  • Address incident reports and document occurrences in line with regulations.
  • Audit resident files for compliance and accuracy.
  • Conduct medication administration records audits to ensure adherence to policies.
  • Resolve any deficiencies related to resident services and coordinate with state survey contacts.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and quality standards.
  • Respond compassionately to resident and family concerns.
  • Facilitate proactive communication regarding resident status with families.
  • Lead family meetings to discuss service plan updates.
  • Assist residents with transportation arrangements for appointments.
  • Train staff through timely in-service sessions.
  • Create and manage monthly staffing schedules.
  • Review assignment sheets to ensure all tasks are completed.
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately.
  • Recruit and orient new staff as needed.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage merit increases.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to represent resident services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain high care standards.
  • Manage logs for purchases and other agency-related documentation.
  • Organize the Assisted Living office and delegate tasks as required.
  • Conduct community tours as necessary.
  • Build relationships with healthcare facilities to support community outreach.
  • Perform pre-admission assessments to evaluate care levels.
  • Assist with emergency procedures as required.
  • May operate a company vehicle for community-related activities.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role within Assisted Living or Healthcare.
  • Experience in program oversight in multi-site operations is preferred.
  • State licensing as required.
  • Proficient in basic math and able to compute rates and percentages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Driving responsibilities may be required (company vehicle or personal vehicle).
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Compliance with Atria's motor vehicle policy is required.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and address problems in standardized situations.
  • First Aid and CPR certification may be required by state law.
  • Completion of Atria's medication management training is necessary.
  • Availability for flexible work hours is expected.
