Job Overview:

We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk/Host to join our team at Dave & Buster's. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all customers.
  • Manage the front desk and host station, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Coordinate game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones, ensuring seamless communication with guests and team members.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and gift cards.
  • Assist with merchandise inventory, restocking supplies, and maintaining a favorable working relationship with team members.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and managers, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Rotate seating, manage wait times, and ensure a smooth flow of guests through the dining areas.
  • Deliver silverware, process To-Go orders, and sell merchandise from the front desk.
  • Meet and greet guests, bid farewell, and ensure everything was satisfactory.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
