Overview
B. Braun Medical Inc. is a leading manufacturer of medical products and services. We are seeking an experienced Operating Technician to join our team in Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities
The Operating Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, following standard operating procedures, and ensuring quality and efficiency in the production process. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating all assigned equipment and following standard work procedures.
- Working with manufacturing leaders to establish, implement, and maintain standard work in the area.
- Conducting training for operators on standard work and trouble-shooting techniques.
- Recommending changes to operating procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
- Contributing to continuous improvement programs, including LPMS, 5S, KATA, and Kaizen events.
- Troubleshooting machine/line stoppage and performing repairs.
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities during machine downtime.
- Monitoring production quality and taking action according to standard work/SOP.
- Completing documentation, including batch records, log books, and PM/DM as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 5-8 years of related experience, and applicable industry/professional certification. Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required.
