Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Infusion Nurse to join our dynamic team at Infuse Rx in Northwest Arkansas. As an Infusion Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
  • Administer prescribed medications or start intravenous fluids and note times and amounts on patients' charts.
  • Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration during visits.
  • Work as part of a clinical team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
  • Collect samples, such as blood, from patients as needed.
  • Discharge patients as therapies complete.
  • Educate patients about health maintenance activities, adoption of healthy behaviors, and support services available in the community.
  • Assist in coordinating seamless transitions of patient care across multiple care settings.
  • Use health information systems efficiently to manage and improve care at the individual and system levels and ensure the delivery of timely and accurate information.
  • Incorporate quality indicators for specific disease states and/or patient variables into patient care plans.
  • Alternate on-call weeks with other infusion nurses.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Infusion Nurse with:

  • Associates degree required.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and CPR certification.
  • Ability to relate effectively to the public and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to attend continuing education related to this role.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a salary of $30.00 per hour and 40 hours of work per week. The work location is in person in Fayetteville, AR 72703.
